Woodridge station precinct
The Woodridge station precinct is being upgraded as part of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project to improve accessibility, safety and customer experience.
The Woodridge station precinct upgrade is being delivered as part of the LGC Rail Package. The LGC Rail package scope of work includes doubling the number of tracks between Kuraby and Beenleigh from two to four, removing level crossings, modern station upgrades, and improving access and connectivity along the complex 20-kilometre project corridor.
Woodridge station upgrade
The updated design elevates the station, providing street-level public access across the rail corridor, significantly improving safety and local connectivity. New lifts and stairs will be provided to the station, as well as a consolidated park ‘n’ ride on Railway Parade.
The design has been further developed by the LGC Rail Alliance following initial design work this year and incorporating feedback from prior community and stakeholder consultation.
Level crossing removal
We are removing the Trinder Crossing level crossing between Railway Parade and Station Road, Woodridge. A new road-over-rail bridge will be constructed approximately 600m north (closer to the new Trinder Park station) at Acacia Road and a realigned Railway Parade, with new local road connections through to Smith Road.
Walking and cycling connections will also be provided at Smith Road, Railway Parade and Acacia Road as well as across the rail corridor.
Community drop-in sessions
