Kingston station precinct

The Kingston station precinct is being upgraded as part of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project to improve accessibility, safety and customer experience for the community.

The updated design better integrates the station with the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct, an important historical community and cultural hub, with improved station entry points and bus stops off Milky Way.

The repositioned station away from the Kingston Road bridge avoids the need to rebuild the bridge, significantly reducing community disruption, and a rebalanced park ‘n’ ride on both sides of the station encourages improved access and capacity for customers.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the updated precinct design in late 2025. A summary of the engagement outcomes is now available.
