Holmview station precinct

The Holmview station precinct is being upgraded as part of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) project.

The new station will be relocated north of its current position, improving flood immunity and ensuring greater reliability of future services.

Level crossing removals

The level crossings at Spanns Road and Holmview Road, Beenleigh will be closed.

Spanns Road level crossing closure

  • A new road connection will link Thorsborne Street to Spanns Road, providing a local access alternative during flood events.
  • The southern side will be converted to a cul-de-sac.
  • A new pedestrian overpass will provide improved access to both sides of the rail corridor.

Holmview Road level crossing closure

  • A new road connection will link Holmview Road to Chapman Drive to maintain local access.
  • A new pedestrian and cycling connection will provide access over the rail corridor in the vicinity of Houdini terrace.
