Better connectivity to local facilities and across the rail line.
Overview
The Loganlea Station Relocation project is relocating and upgrading Loganlea station to better connect customers with nearby health, education, and community services.
The upgrade will improve accessibility and safety at the new station, with dual lifts on each platform, an elevated pedestrian connection over the rail line, conveniently located bus stops, kiss ‘n’ ride and park ‘n’ ride facilities, and better lighting and security features.
The existing station will remain open to customers while the new station is being built 500m to the south opposite Logan Hospital.
The Australian and Queensland governments have jointly committed $173.76 million to deliver these works.
Loganlea station is located within the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project corridor.
The contract for the Loganlea Station Relocation package was awarded to Martinus Degnan Joint Venture (MDJV) in September 2024.

🚧First new Loganlea station platform installed🚧
Over a two-week construction block in November 2025, the LSR project team installed 144 modular panels, each weighing 5 tonnes. Upon completion, the platform will span 162m in length and 9m in width, forming the structural heart of the new station.
