Have your say

The Rosslyn Bay State Boat Harbour Draft Master Plan (draft Master Plan) is open for feedback from Tuesday 18 August to Sunday, 20 September 2026. Community members and stakeholders can provide feedback through the online survey.

Community drop-in sessions will also be held in Yeppoon during the feedback period.

Online survey

Survey participants should allow about 15 minutes to complete the online survey.

The survey seeks feedback on:

  • how people currently use and experience the harbour
  • which outcomes and strategic directions are most important
  • views on priorities for further planning, design and investigation
  • local knowledge, ideas or considerations that may not be fully reflected in the draft.

Participants are encouraged to review the draft Master Plan and Background Summary Report to complete the survey.

Accessibility and survey access support

Survey access support and requests for project information in alternative formats can be directed to BHSP@msq.qld.gov.au.

Community drop-in sessions

Four community drop-in sessions will be held in Yeppoon during the feedback period. Each session will provide opportunities to:

  • view information and maps from the Draft Master Plan
  • ask questions about the master planning process and proposed directions
  • speak with members of the project team
  • receive information about online survey access.

How feedback will be used and next steps

Maritime Safety Queensland will consider survey responses and themes raised during engagement activities alongside technical, environmental, operational and policy information. This information will help identify priorities, areas of support and matters requiring further consideration.

Personal information collected through the survey will be managed in accordance with the survey privacy statement.

After the feedback period closes, the findings will inform finalisation of the Master Plan. The final Master Plan is expected to be published in late 2026.
