Metro buses are a sub-par solution compared to rail. They lack rail's capacity (150 vs 1000), speed, and permanence.

It should be rail all the way to Maroochydore. Buying a fleet of busses for the last stage is a waste of time and money for the Coast + QLD.

Best option is the Brisbane Metro - consistency across the state and is designed specially for Qld. Focus on luggage + accessibility

Ideally, a bi-articulated vehicle should be used as it has larger capacity.

For the love of God! Please plan for rail, then build for your buses. You'd be crippling all future prospects for rail to the new CBD.

We don't need fancy expensive vehicles for public transportation when trains exists... Just go full rail to Maroochy like the original plan.

Be sure to include world class cycle infrastructure along the entire alignment. This is a once in a generation opportunity for cycleways.

Extend the heavy rail to Maroochydore/the airport. Forcing people to change to a bus is literally the opposite of 'seamless'
