Preserve the Birtinya to Maroochydore CAMCOS corridor for future heavy rail. BRT is better suited to the coastal corridor.

Use the Kawana Motorway ROW from Birtinya to the MRI, to help preserve CAMCOS for future heavy rail, if you must build a metro for stage 3.

Do not waste the rail corridor. BRT should service frequent stops along the coastal corridor, rail should use CAMCOS for suburban travel
