Overview
The Department of
Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is currently planning for active transport
upgrades along Moggill Road between the Centenary Motorway and Rafting Ground
Reserve. The study area is divided into 3 sections as seen in the map at the bottom of the page.
From late 2022 to early 2023, TMR invited the community to share their transport priorities and concerns, including any safety and congestion issues within this area.
TMR is now seeking community feedback on potential options to improve active transport safety along Moggill Road.
Options
TMR is considering the following 3 design options:
Section 1 (Moggill Road from Centenary Motorway to Chapel Hill Road)
- Option 1, on-road bike lanes
- Option 2, off-road separated path

Section 2 (Moggill Road from Chapel Hill Road to Kilkivan Avenue)
- Off-road shared path

TMR is currently prioritising design options for Section 1
and 2 within the study area. Options for Section 3 (Kilkivan
Avenue to Rafting Ground Reserve) will be developed at a later
date.
Have your say
TMR is seeking feedback on the above options to help deliver the best outcome possible for the community.
