The map below shows the 4 planning stages for the Bruce Highway Western Alternative (BHWA) between Beerburrum and Bald Hills.

Early planning for Stage 1 between Moodlu and Moorina (through Waraba) is complete and the corridor is protected for a future state-controlled road.

Early planning for Stage 2 between Moorina and Narangba is complete and the corridor is protected for a future state-controlled road.

Early planning for Stage 3 between Narangba to Bald Hills commenced in February 2023; planning is ongoing.

Early planning for Stage 4 between Beerburrum to Moodlu commenced in May 2023. TMR is currently undertaking community consultation on corridor options.
