Project overview

Brisbane’s west faces transport challenges including reliance on a single arterial connection, Moggill Road, and physical constraints by surrounding natural barriers like the Brisbane River, Mount Coot-tha, Enoggera Forest Reserve, and D’Aguilar National Park.

The Integrated Road and Public Transport Plan for Western Brisbane will investigate these challenges and identify opportunities to improve the area’s transport network, so people spend less

time in congestion and more time with their families in the outer west.

We're seeking feedback to inform the planning study, and the project team wants to hear from you.

We'll be at local hubs with community pop-ups where you can meet the team and provide your feedback directly.

Keep an eye on this site, and sign up for updates for locations and times that will be coming soon.

Feedback is open until Friday 29 May 2026.
