Overview
Maritime Safety Queensland is excited to announce proposed design for the Inkerman Creek Floating Walkway (Port Alma Road) project.
Construction of the Inkerman Creek boat ramp was completed in mid-2023, following its relocation from the Port Alma Shipping Terminal, providing important access to Inkerman Creek and offshore destinations for local communities and visitors.
The proposed floating walkway will improve safety, accessibility, and ease of use at the boat ramp, delivering a stable platform to make it easier to launch and retrieve vessels in strong tidal conditions.
Your feedback will ensure the proposed floating walkway aligns with the needs and safety priorities of boat ramp users.
Consultation is open until Sunday 15 March 2026.
