The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is investigating options to improve safety and reduce the number of fatal and serious injury crashes on the Cunningham Highway.

This planning project aims to identify and develop solutions to address safety issues on the Cunningham Highway between Lyndhurst Lane in Warwick and Millmerran-Inglewood Road in Inglewood.

Safety improvements will aim to benefit all road users including riders, motorists and heavy vehicle drivers.

Have your say

As part of the planning process, TMR has consulted with the community about safety issues on the Cunningham Highway between Warwick and Inglewood.

Hearing the experiences of road users is important to help TMR understand local safety issues and inform the development of appropriate safety improvements.

Upgrade options are prioritised based on their ability to deliver the greatest road safety benefits, reduce fatal and serious injury crashes and provide a consistent experience for road users on state-controlled roads.

Priority safety improvement options will be included in the business case and put forward for future construction funding.
