What's most important?
We've identified a number of negotiable aspects of Stage 1 of the Coomera Connector where community input can influence ultimate project outcomes.
We'd like to know which negotiable aspects of the project are most important to you. We will use this information to plan future consultation activities on the items most important to the community.
The negotiable aspects of Stage 1 of the Coomera Connector are:
1. Design of noise barriers
A noise assessment is currently being undertaken to determine where noise barriers will need to be included along the Stage 1 corridor. The design of noise barriers can be influenced by the community. You can share your ideas on the design of noise barriers.
2. Design of retaining walls
In some areas along Stage 1 of the Coomera Connector retaining walls will be required. The design of retaining walls can be influenced by the community. You can share your ideas on the design of retaining walls.
3. Landscaping and planting
Landscaping and planting will be included in the design of the Coomera Connector. Is this an important aspect of the project for you? Share your ideas with us.
4. Design of shared path
A shared path for walking and bike riding will be included along the full length of Stage 1 of the Coomera Connector. Share your ideas about how the shared path can best facilitate desired local connections for the community.

Once we have identified which negotiable aspects of the project are the most important to the community, more detailed consultation will be undertaken with the community on the priority project negotiables before the business case is finalised in mid-2021.
